Hope Jensen (Ariel) is a sophomore Classical Archaeology and English double major. She is a RA, student conductor/member of the Pep Band, Costume Director for the Abbey Players, member of the Abbey Choir, and the best person to have on a trivia team. This is her 4th production with the Abbey Players! Enjoy the show!
Steven Villanova (Prince Eric) is a Junior Studio Art major. This is his first production with the Abbey Players after a seven year hiatus from theater, during which time he honed his skills in singing and performing as a voice actor. After playing villains and comic reliefs for years, he is finally ready to tackle the Disney Prince!
Catherine Landry (Ursula) is a senior Nursing major. She illuminated the Dana Stage as Brooklyn in the Life at Saint Anselm produced by Isabelle Knee and Olivia Boudreau. She is looking forward to performing alongside her friends in her first and last musical with the Abbey Players.
Erin Golden (Flounder) is a senior psychology major with a minor in Wii sports and keeping plants alive. This is her 12th and final production with the Abbeys, and from her first show to her last, they have brought her a sense of home on the hilltop. She enjoys going to the beach, rugby, and spending time with friends. Speaking of which, she is very glad that she pestered her friend Steven into ending his seven year hiatus from theater. The Heelys are as fun as they look.
Samuel Cowen (Scuttle) is a senior Classics major. This is his first show with the Abbey Players since his freshman year. He is happy to finally live out his dream of being a bird. Awk squawk bawk bawk bawk, etc.
Jackson Hyam (King Triton) is a junior Psychology major. This will be his third performance with the Abbey Players and he can’t wait to showcase his hard work alongside his fellow cast and crew! Sit back and let the merriment begin!
Jordan Tavares (Sebastian)
Casey Shiepe (Grimsby) is a Junior and a transfer student majoring in Computer Science with Mathematics. This is his first show with the Abbey Players, though he has a lot of experience in acting from numerous performances throughout his life. He is excited to put his acting skills to the test by putting on a show you will never forget!
Katherine Scannell (Flotsam) is a freshman with a minor in Musical Theatre. She enjoys singing and does her best to widen her range. This is the first full-length show that she has done with the Abbey Players, but she has been involved in theatre since elementary school. She is very happy to be performing with the Abbeys with all of her friends by her side.
Colby Lynch (Jetsam) is a freshman undeclared major. He is a member of the Track team as well as the club frisbee team. This is his first show with the Abbey Players and he is very excited for you all to see it!
Sydney Mazur (Chef Louis) is a freshman communication major from Amherst, New Hampshire. She likes to spend her time filming things for friends, acting, and refining her list of nonexistent impressions. She is so excited to be working with the Abbey Players this spring and hopes you enjoy the show!
Rina Simpson (Pilot/Leeward) is a senior Spanish and Music double major with minors in theater and education. This is her final show with the Abbeys, and she is so grateful to have been part of this amazing group. Enjoy the show!
Maeve Murray (Windward) is a sophomore Criminal Justice major. This will her first musical with the Abbeys but she has been in other productions such as Cabaret and One Acts. Her favorite thing she’s done with the Abbeys is helping with props for Puffs! She is very excited to be a part of this show and hopes that everyone enjoys watching!
Casey Roberge (Aquata, u/s Ariel) is a Junior Biology major intending on Forensics, Gender Studies, and Chemistry minors on the Pre-Medicine track. This is her first full production with the Abbey Players, but she has been involved with their smaller productions and theater in general since she was young. She is excited to get more involved with the Abbeys in her coming senior year!
Kelly Geraghty (Andrina)
Madigan Keating (Arista) is a freshman Music and Secondary Education double major from Keene NH. She has been dancing for 17 years and has done theater for some of high school and has been a member of the Abbeys since the beginning of this school year! She is excited to continue growing within her performing as well as her friendships in the Abbey Players!
Grace Trabucchi (Atina) is a senior Communication major with a minor in Business and Professional Writing. She has served as a member on the Abbey Players Board since 2020 and has been the Director of Marketing for the past 2 years. She has been involved in numerous productions with the Abbey Players, most notably as Bippy the house elf in Puffs. She is looking forward to her last production and going under the sea with you and Catherine Irene Landry!
Jamie Walsh (Adella) is a Junior Environmental Science major and so excited to be apart of her first Abbey Players musical. She has done Cabarets in previous years but is excited to share the stage in this production and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Olivia Boudreau (Allana) is a senior Communication major with a double minor in Politics and American Studies. She is the Director of Development for the Abbey Players, and is so excited to be a mersister in The Little Mermaid! This is her second year on the board and her fourth show on the Dana stage.
Megan Spencer (Tapping Gull/Ensemble) is a senior Elementary Education major. This will be her third show with the Abbey Players! She is excited to perform with her friends in her last musical with the Abbey Players. She thanks all her family and friends for coming and for their support! Enjoy the show!
Creative Team
Elizabeth Daily (Director & Producer) is thecurrent Interim Director of the Abbey Players for 2022-2023.Last fall, she directed The Diviners and has enjoyed her tenure with the Abbeys directing and producing Disney’s The Little Mermaid.She holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Missouri; she is also a teacher of the Alexander Technique, completing her training at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee.Ms. Daily recently completed 25 years of teaching and directing theatre at Plymouth State University and was granted emeritus status in fall of 2021. She has performed in NH at the Barnstormers Theatre, Advice to the Players, Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Papermill Theatre, Stage One Productions and has been a dialect coach for Jean’s Playhouse.Thank you to Saint Anselm College and Dean Cronin, the Dana Center, the faculty and staff of the English Department and the Fine Arts Department for your support.Special thanks and compliments go to all the superb Abbey Players board members and students committed to the productions this year and working on two water-themed shows!
Alicia Edgar (choreographer) is a performer and choreographer with 10 years of experience choreographing in theatres across New Hampshire. Some of her favorite shows to work on include Carrie, A Chorus Line, Cinderella, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr, Lion King Jr, and Hairspray. She also teaches dance at Lakes Region Dance in Meredith, where she teaches a few classes including musical theatre, with some pieces having gone off to competition. When she’s not teaching, she is also an avid performer herself. Some of her theatrical highlights include Twelfth Night, The Addams Family, Evita, Cats, and The Little Mermaid. Currently Alicia works as the Box Office Manager at Plymouth State University, and is completing her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Meg Query (Stage manager, sound, lights, & set designer) is a junior politics major with minors in philosophy and political theory. This is her third year with the Abbey Players and her second show as director of sound, lights, and sets. She is very excited about this show and is very grateful for the support and help of the board, cast, crew, and creative team throughout this process. She is excited to see where the next year of the Abbeys (and everything else!) takes her!
Bella Dineen (Rehearsal stage manager & sound operator) is the rehearsal stage manager and sound board operator for The Little Mermaid. This is her first production at Saint Anselm, but she's done tech for five years. She's currently a sophomore at Saint Anselm and is very happy she got to work on the show
Nolan Howard (Assistant stage manager & deck operator) is the assistant stage manager, and he has worked on plays in all facets in the past. From acting in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Witness for the Prosecution, and Guys and Dolls, to working behind the scenes in The Crimes of Wonderland. This is his first production at Saint Anselm, and he is very excited to be working on this incredible production!
